Cusco held the formalization of Qhapaq Ñan as a World Heritage

Tomorrow at 18:30 in Main Square of Cusco, heart of andean system Qhapaq Ñan will be witness of a event without precedents. Important artists of the six countries integrated by the huge trail, will offer it a diverse and colorful artistic spectacle for the apotheosis celebrations of the official delivery of the resolution recognizing the Qhapaq Ñan as a World Heritage Site.

 

The select participation of artists included to renowned ensembles as the Trío Argentres, line up for the tucumano guitarrist Esteban Vélez (who was part of the group known The Nocheros of Anta), the singer and flautist Pablo Gimenez and the cordobes percusionist Pablo Cruz. From Pasto, Colombia will be arrive the group Bambarabanda with a modern proposal andean/contemporary that incorporated the classic rap with a folk sound. Chile will be proudly represented by singer of fusion music Francesca Ancarola and Bolivia by the north group Potosi that will bring happy music in aymara language. Ecuador is one of strong dishers with the singer Mariela Condo and her threesome, that carriyng the pop-folk the most sutiles sounds from ecuadoran andes. And representing Perú, we will see the legendary band from Cusco Arco Iris and its 40 years old of trajectory together to Extension Group, that will open the night with a baroque choral singing.
