International tourism continues to grow in Cusco. Between January and August, about 1.2 million foreign visitors arrived in the Imperial City, which represents an increase of 11.3% over the same period of 2014, according to information from the Central Reserve Bank (BCR).
Only in August, at least 185,500 foreign tourists came to the region, 7.4% more than in the same month last year.
Tourists from France, Argentina and England were the most visited Cusco, an increase of 38.5%, 35.4% and 24.8% of the flow of visitors, respectively, according to the BCR.
