During your visit to Cusco, you need to see and travel the huge Sacred Valley that host the most important places or ruins like Ollantaytambo and their ruins. That they are immense stones and the city is the last living Inca city in whole region of Cusco.
That the reason why, the Sacred Valley has become one of the most important tourist centers in Peru.
