Santurantikuy: Craft market in Cusco

Every December 24, In the main Square the biggest show of popular and folkloric art of Cusco - Peru is performed: Santurantikuy fair, where hundreds of artisans from different parts of Cusco and other regions expose beautiful and original works fruit of his creative spirit throughout the year and births which adorn homes and institutions. El Niño Manuelito is the central character of the celebration of Christmas in Cusco.

You can see all kinds of handicrafts such as wood carvings, pottery and retablos. At night traditional punches are sold to warm the body.

Currently, Santurantikuy popular art fair is organized by the Municipal Celebration of Cusco, EMUFEC SA, giving an ordering and functional sense with clearly marked and delimited by spaces specialties, these being:
