A 32-year-old Peruvian woman gave birth onboard a Machu Picchu bound train, last Friday, El Comercio reported.
According to the daily, the woman, identified as Justina Godoy Choque, boarded the train at the Qorihuayrachina station, and was headed to Machu Picchu. Godoy’s contractions began shortly after boarding, and she urged the staff to increase the train’s speed. Godoy eventually went into labor onboard the train, El Comercio said. She and her baby received medical care upon reaching the Machu Picchu station.
